Well, you can't say Steve Jobs didn't warn them at 9:49am on Jan. 9th 2007.  I mean, really - how often do competitors give out that kind of strategic information?

And now, four years later, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop basically admits that Jobs was right.  Hey, at least they still have a year to correct, innovate, and come out with a viable iPhone Killer!
